Hi, what are you looking for?
Holbrook, New York – October 4, 2022 – California Wildfires have become more frequent and more intense. They are also starting earlier in the yearly cycle and lasting longer. Residents and workers located nearby and even hundreds of miles away can experience health problems from the airborne noxious fumes and the amount of ultra-fine particulate matter released into the air.
Wildfires generate a wide variety of harmful airborne pollutants that can cause health problems such as burning eyes, runny nose, and illnesses such as bronchitis. Fine particles also can aggravate chronic heart and lung diseases – and even are linked to premature deaths in people with these conditions.
“The health impact of inhaling wildfire smoke increases dramatically during high-emissions wildfires and with long exposure,” said Kobziar, associate professor of Wildland Fire Science at the University of Idaho. “Yet, the risk of infection to the respiratory tract after this exposure is frequently overlooked.”
Residents living near Wildfire prone areas are cautioned to keep tabs on Air Quality and the proximity of Wildfires. They will either be told to evacuate the area or stay indoors with all doors and windows closed. Air Conditioning systems should be run on a continuous basis and with clean filters.
Thanks to current technology in Air Purification, medical-grade systems can render an indoor space safe to inhabit. Airgle began engineering air purifiers in New York in 1999. Over the last 22 years, they have expanded across the United States and worldwide. Their dominance in this industry is beyond dispute.
Their solution is the AG900 System which exceeds indoor air quality standards. Many airborne particulates and irritants from smoke have very slow precipitation rates, so they remain in the air for many hours. The less time a pathogen remains in the air, the lower the chance of cross-infection. Airgle recommends achieving 5 Air Changes per Hour, which is easily accomplished by their AG900 System.
The AG900 System’s Titanium Pro® module breaks apart organics, chemicals, bacteria, and viruses in the air. This patented photocatalytic oxidation PCO stage features the world’s first and only photocatalytic oxidation technology that uses a catalytic metal plate, electronic component, a germicidal UV lamp and UV lamp ballast within one disposable module designed for easy insertion and removal. The Titanium Pro® module safely breaks down harmful chemicals and odors down to 0.1 micron in size, while effectively neutralizing bacterial and viral pollutants.
The wi-fi management of multiple Airgle systems has become a simple process thanks to the App Management Software built in. Any number of systems (even a hundred units) can be centrally and remotely managed at once from a phone or tablet. Featuring full control, full monitoring of the system, air quality readings and notifications. This is a powerful new feature, especially for customers who have multiple systems in place.
